Ok, I'm an incy bit bored at work, so I thought I'd show you all my journey to work with the aid of google maps

Here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=53.392868,-1.401100&spn=0.235176,0.341263&t=k&saddr=S35+9ZX&daddr=s20+8lp&hl=en)

Curretly done by the wonders that are public transport, soon to be done on the wonders that are 2 wheels :D

Whats yours?

Bloody Hell!! Sheffield to Birmingham??? Every day?? Would this be an inopportune time to say that my journey to work is a flight of stairs? (work at home; congestion is a pile of washing) How good is your job to warrant that journey? (if you don't mind me asking?)

Being a 'Domestic Goddess' I don't have far to go to work (downstairs) lol

But hubby is now comuting to London every day.

He's up at 5.30am, leaves the house around 6.20am, gets the 7.25 Master Cutler into St Pancreas then walks 10-15 mins to Grays Inn Road. Gets the 5.30 from St Pancreas to Sheffield, home around 8.30pm.

This must be one of the longest daily comutes - unless you know different?? :hihi:

I walk up the hill to Park Grange tram stop, get the tram into town (10 mins), change, get the tram out to the arena (20 mins)and walk across the field outside Ice Sheffield.

Piece of cake.

All your links are to my route, because google doesnt update the address in the address bar, you need to copy the link from where it says link to this on the right hand side of the page :)

Google only gives you directions by road though, it doesn't say "get the tram to meadowhall".

12 minute walk down hill through Nether Edge to Abbeydale Road. Easily manageable even in winter with appropriate clothing. Sheer bliss after previous venture which needed van/car and driving across town. It has been truly life changing, mind you we don't make as much money......
