Has anyone else found that having two photographers is much more beneficial to having just the one?

I am struggling to decide between them at the moment :'(

I'm a wedding photography and from my point of view using two photographer is always a bonus. I use another photographer too follow the groom and I will follow the bride. It works well as you have two stories coming together throughout the day. Also, you have another lens capturing light of the action.

As I'm shooting formal shoots my assistant will be shooting the action unfolding behind me.

Worth the extra if you ask me.

I only use another photographer if one's requested .. the down side for the bride is .. you get that many shots to choose from you end up spending more money ..lol. :D

I shoot on my own and always find it much more beneficial. the main reasons are that I have a 'style' and find that no matter what you do, the 2nd or 3rd photographer just can't shoot like you want them to! I find having an assistant much more beneficial.

I have shot with 3 people, and have been the 2nd and 3rd photographer.

I do find it a bit odd when an potential customer asks about having a 2nd photographer. Simply because, if I needed a 2nd photographer, I'd have one... I don't need one, so don't have one!
