Ermmmm things that I would look for in a man....

Well ermmm... it would be cool if he lived in a mansion and was loaded but that's not going to happen lol!

Important things though... Ermmm lol

1. Beautiful personality... that includes things like honesty, trustworthiness, reliability etc...

2. Intelligent... I personally like intelligence, I love to have intellectual discussions, but not all the time!! which brings me on to my next point...

3. Down to earth and natural... I don't want someone who's going to talk at me all the time... Noooo...! I want to be able to relax in a guys company and just be myself. However childish that may be.

4. Good looking... Call me shallow but this is the thing that has got my attention in the first place. Guys who take care over their bodies, keep themselves in good shape are impressive.

5. Good dress sense.... Now this all depends on the woman your after... She may like one thing and another woman may hate it, but as long as you find a style to suit you and you ooze confidence in it, then you're on to a winner. I'm a sucker for guys wearing fitted jeans and funky t-shirts. Moto jeans at topshop are great just to chill in, but they also look quite nice when worn at night.

Six packs are nice ;-)
Thats about it really!

I totally agree with the points above! I really think most women find it hard to find a faithful and honest guy!!! :D

And just to throw the debate wide open, what do men look for in a woman? Are we blokes less picky than the ladies, or is that just me?:D

So basically you go for the guys who think they are models from a magazine?

PASSION - for life, in love and for everything that they choose to spend their time doing.
HONESTY - in who they are and to all the important people in their life /relationships

I reckon if you've got these and the chemistry is there of course, then you're doing ok.
It helps if some of your interests are common ones - else you'd have no time to do anything together. And you really do need a similar sense of humour (or lack of !) - or many problems may rear their head.

:)

1. A man who is not afraid of his feminine side and who expresses his emotions.

2. A man needs to have a sense of humour.

3. Honesty and reliability.

4. If he can cook then thats a bonus but must be willing to share household chores.

Interesting, because thats exactly what I want in a woman.. If i'm honest, I think I may have let number 4 rule a little more in the past than now; have had a couple of relationships with good looking girls that really don't have nice personalities, hence I've been dumped on and left heartbroken. Such is life..

I'd like a girl that I can watch the Simpsons with while we are getting ready to go out to a non shoot all the aliens type film or the theatre, who looks equally good in a ball gown or jeans and a rugby shirt. Mostly, she's got to be someone that I am attracted to as a person. If there is a flaw in the personaility, (for want of a better word) then one day I'll wake up and see it and not want to be there..

My single female friends say I'm too picky. Rather be alone for the right reasons, than with someone for the wrong reasons..

The Cynic in me says the REAL list is:
Lustworthy
Rich
Dangerous: a) for excitement b) for the challenge of taming (resulting in the complaint "but you aren't the man I met!")
I might be wrong!

For me the things I would look for are: (In no particular order)

1. Not ugly, doesn't have to be a model though.

2. Ambitious - I like someone who aspires to be the best they can be.

3. Sense of humour is extremely important. Must also find my crap jokes as funny as I do, or at least pretend to.

4. Must have some dress sense or be willing to learn.

5. Excitement and spontanaity are nice but I guess reliability is more important than these.

6. Must show a little romance but not over the top.

7. Must have eyes only for me, that means no obvious flirting, gawping at other girls or making me feel insecure.

8. Must love my grandma and be willing to do "little jobs" for her.

For Gawd's sake if that was my list, that was what I would have posted!!!! All I was doing was helping the original poster along with a few idea's as to what SOME women like!! If you want to analyse everything infront of your face, sign yourself up for an English Language course.

some nice lists there :)

however, i don't get the "good dress sense" thing at all - what does it matter how he dresses, if he's kind, intelligent, funny, reliable and a stud in the sack?

*Mental note to self, loose the Santa jumper*

:D

I think physical attraction is important, but less so as you grow older.. Teenagers seem to on the whole grab someone they fancy, I tend to find these days I'm more interested in someone I mentally rather than physically fancy, (if that makes any sense).

As for all women wanting a guy who is intelligent, loyal etc, well some don't. Ex just wanted a fling. Shame as I thought moreof her. C'est la vie..

I think I'm just going to go shoot myself now...

- Honest, yep..
- Caring, oh definitely (I was a nanny once.. t'is true!)
- Expressive, feelings, etc.. (oh lord yeah.. !)
- Secure in self (ah, now we're hitting some problems)
- Dress sense (erm... well I ran 2 fashion shows! but I'm crap)
- GSOH (well that depends if they match)..

To turn things around though I'd say my list would be...
- wonderful eyes
- smiles, enjoys life (but knows how to relax too)
- physical person (eg: hugs, some PDA*)
- communicative and expressive (and able to listen!)
- common interests (scuba, sign language)
- experimental (will to try some new things).
- human (not so perfectionist from hell who always succeeds!)

* public display of affection although not public sex.. well actually. *cough*.. :) and certainly not a Palm handheld!!

I'm very partial to ginger men! but any hair colour is cool even bright pink, in fact the weirder the better - but not Beckhamesque!
Brown eyes but can cope with blue especially if the dude is wearing eyeliner.
Ok Im weird, have odd taste knew that already!
Must have sense of humour and an open mind, obviously!
Dont mind if they're not of the model physique, but I firmly believe never go out with a man who has bigger breasts then yourself! (if youre a girl :) )

xxx

I like a man who loves me but keeps me on my toes, who looks great in jeans and out of them, who presses all the right buttons, physically and psychologically, who has his own life and respects mine and just occasionally - tells me how fantastic I am!

Avatars have to be no more than 50 pixels wide or 50 pixels deep, and their file size can be no larger than 5K.

Hope that helps.

Trick one - go on Google and type "Avatar" and maybe "festive" or "sexy" or "winnie the pooh" or whatever takes your fancy.

And when you find one that someone else has already made, copy the link to it.

Then go to your OPTIONS and PROFILE and add the link to the Avatar

Trick two - if you already have one that you want to use but it wont go little enough without losing its resolution, ask one of these nice Forumers who are good at that sort of thing to help you. You could exchange email addresses in PM, then email it to them and they could make it an appropriate size and email it back to you, in which case you attach it from your hard drive to your profile instead of from the internet

Good luck

I cant do it for you, I had Phan to help me to do mine, and a damn good job he did too
