Ed is now 13 months old and has just cut two canines within a week, actually 5 days!
He now has 14 teeth!
He started at 6 months and a day and has had roughly one tooth a fortnight since then. He suffers with pretty much every one, nappy rash, grumpiness (understandable!), runny nose, cough, sleepless nights, sickness, runny tummy, everything. When one tooth comes through and all the symptoms settle, its only a matter of days til we start all over again.
I'm shattered...
please tell me it'll stop for a little while soon?????
:help:
i have a 1yr old and she h 4 teeth she had 2 bottom ones then cut another 2 on top she has been ill for a week everything u descrbed aboveand sesstill not better yet been like this for a week dont know how long it take but like u i hope it stops soon
The good news is there are only six more to come! The bad news is it means it's easier to bite you :D
Our lad's have all come in the wrong order - they were doing fine until it got to the bottom ones and they've not all popped up - he got some molars before them! I wonder if this is from chewing the cot? Babies are scary with their bitey teefs ;)

Don't forget that Calpol, Calprofen and Teetha are your friends...
Pity they took the brandy/whisky out of the equation :P
I'm just looking forward to all of this again (no, not even a little bit)...

Oh yes, calpol, ibuprofen in between, anbesol and Ashton and Parson teething powders are all used here, I can recommend the whole lot used at once, usually at about midnight with bleary eyes....
and bottles of milk for when he refuses tea....
and grandma's for when you've just had enough :hihi:

Love the tips! We've had screaming tantrums at mealtimes today and she's got a runny nose and red cheeks...I thought she had a bit of my cold but maybe it's teeth?? Hadn't even thought of Calpol but used those Ashton and Parsons powder things, bit late in the day though! x

Lew is 11 months and he just had the bottom two until this Friday. He has now cut the top front right and the next one to the right. I think the matching two are on their way very soon. We have had a mega runny nose which developed into a cold and then conjunctivis and it has left him with a bark to rival a stray dog!
Haven't had too much problem with teeth before now but with a couple of sickness bugs and other minor illnesses which have gone on for a while longer than average I have had my share of sleepless nights. I think we are all in for it - one way and sometime or another!
