Hi does anybody know the best place to buy fancy goldfish. We have had a few from pets at home on Chesterfield Road, tragicly they have all died not long after we bought them. The tank is all set up as it should be, and we had followed all the rules of care. We have looked round a few garden centres in the Eccington but the fish in there always look drowsy and not in good condition.

Aqua hobby prospect road heeley,just up the road from pets at home! they are fab , they dont open mondays but well worth a visit.if they dont have what you want they will order in what ever you require.we get all our fish from there and we have 4 tanks! :hihi:

Our pets at home fish haven't done well only around 40% survival rate in 2 months. We have got a few new fish from hillsborough aquatics who are all still alive (although it has only been 4 days)

They are a great fish shop. I've never had any problems with fish from there unless I personally had done something wrong.
The fish are well filtered and health checked. Also they source from a very good retailer in chesterfield. Which does add to the quality of fish.

try Wentworth Garden Centre, they seem to have a good range.
