In the Times today there is a global poll of average weekly reading hours.

Globally the average is 6.4 hrs. In Britain it is 5.2 hrs.

How often do you read? I reckon I probably do around 10 hrs per week.

I would say about 15-20 hours a week. I'm a bit of a bookworm :)

i dont really read books these days unless i find an interesting music or computer book.

its mainly magazines these days - music and computer mags, just depends whats in the shop, i normally buy one to read on the bus to work, even if its only the cheapy computer active mag :P

I probably read 2-3 hours a week.. A lot less than I used to, but that's probably cos I'm busier nowadays than I used to be so I don't always have time to read :(

it depends what you classify as reading...

novels/auto-biography's... proper books... I probably read between 10+ hours a week
magazines, such as my computer magazines and guitar magazines a further 2+ hours a week...
online forums just reading rubbish... 20hrs a week minimum?
reading e-books, computer programming books, research etc... 5hrs a week?

I read a lot... you dont get to be gorgeously hot and super intelligent without working hard ya know? ;)

If your talking about reading books, about 5-8 hours a wk, if you add in what i read on the net etc: about 20-25 hours a wk.

If we miss out peering at a computer screen, I'd say I read about 14 - 15 hours a week if I miss out work related stuff.

Then about another hour or so a day for the work related stuff.

If you're talking books probabely 20-25 hrs + reading on the net + daily newspaper, so quite a lot.
