Am thinking of getting one of these - about four films I want to see this month so should definitely pay for itself! Just wondering if anyone knows:
1. Can I see the Met Opera screenings using this?
2. Is it true you can't book in advance - you have to come in on the day and collect the tickets in person?
Cheers!

No, but you do get discounted admission to the MET screenings
2. Is it true you can't book in advance - you have to come in on the day and collect the tickets in person?
That is correct. You cannot get them in advance, but can pop in early in the day to get tickets for later shows. The main reason for this is that distributors were not happy with the idea that people might just book loads of tickets in advance but not show up (after all, if it costs nothing, what is the commitment?) They saw the potential issue of loads of empty seats and people being turned away unable to get in.
Cheers!

Don't mention it :) As an additional note, the Card runs for a minimum term of 12 months. The first month is paid when signing up (either on site, or via the web at www.cineworld.co.uk), with the rest going out direct debit. After the 12 months the payments will continue to be taken, and card valid, until the customer terminates the agreement - thus if you still want to keep it running, you don't have to re-apply.

Do you not get people sneaking into the Met Opera showings? Not that it is my thing, opera that is not sneaking into showings.

I can certainly it's well worth investing in an Unlimited card.
I make the most of it, seeing at least a film a week, sometime much more, but even if you just go once a week, you still save a fortune! I've had mine a couple of years now and it must have saved me loads!

Nope - we always have a member of staff dedicated to the Opera screenings (being a live transmission, we need to be there in case of transmission faults, problems with the uplink, etc.) so no-one can sneak into the screen.

I would definitely recommend the card. If you go at least twice a month, it has paid for itself. Cheers gg
