did you see the one show on bbc1 4th march
they were in sheffield and featured the grave of
George Basset the guy behind bassetts liquorice allsort's its about 17minutes into the show

I watched that and was wondering which cemetery it was....My bet is either City Rd or Burngreave. They never said did they?

I think all the graves featured were in the GENERALcemetary ALTHOUGH i MUST ADMIT THE CAMERA ANGLES MADE IT LOOK A LOT NICER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS.

It was the General Cemetery.

Which one is the General one then? is that the one on Cemetery Road? Sorry most of my relatives are in Tinsley Park.

Top of Cemetery Road, off Ecclesall Road. Apparently, there is a tour on Saturday, see across on "Sheffield Discussions".
