My daughter is looking for work experience in photography, for 2 weeks in june, she is 15 and in year 10, she has phoned loads of studios and been turned down.does anyone know a place that takes part in this, she's interested in media or magazine photography work.

There are lots of people of every age looking for the same thing! I dont know any magazine photography studios, they are normally freelance or at least contract out their shoots. In terms of media photography, you'd be looking to spend time with someone who shoots one day a week if they're lucky and the rest planning, advertising, researching and making phone calls.
As much as it pains me to say it, to see any sort of regular action in 2 weeks, I'd contact one of the commercial portrait studio's, i.e. Neo Photography or Venture in Woodseats. You could try Hugger Studios too....The owner is such a nice guy I think he'd let her come and work in his studio, but again, it depends how much 'action' she wants to see.
You could always try contacting Exposed Magazine to see how they operate their photography element?
