LitleMermaid 05-03-2009, 13:05 Whata bummer, I work Friday-Monday! I only do four hours on Fridays though, so the 20th might still be a goer if you need me for half the day or something? What times are you planning on being there?
LittleMermaid - great, I was relying on people like you. What time can you do on the 20th? x
LitleMermaid 05-03-2009, 13:15 Christ knows as of yet-but I am back at work tomorrow, so can look at the rota then and let you know! I work different times all thetime, depending on when they need me, and if the rotas haven't gone up then I can request to be on mornings so I can be around for the rest of thet day! Leave it with me, I'll sort it as soon as I can
*Peaches* 05-03-2009, 14:55 I'll be happy to help, if someone can meet me in the center, I don't know sheffield
LitleMermaid 17-03-2009, 08:54 magsie, I am working today instead of Friday-my boss needed me more today luckily! So I can be there whenever you need me on Friday! Let me know when you'll be there and stuff :D
Great news LitleMermaid. Have PM'd you. Also pm'd you Peaches!
Jackie has a massive vet bill for the ginger cat she took in last week. Still ongoing. But he is making progress. Is walking a few steps and is eating for England. Thank goodness for Jackie. She is feeding over 40 cats now!
LitleMermaid 17-03-2009, 09:52 40 cats my God! And I think haddock and I have it bad :o
What a woman:thumbsup:
LM, I'm waiting to hear from a job, but if the news isn't good, I'll pick you up and drive you.
Peaches, I may be able to pick you up too.
If I get work, I'll have to leave you to your own devices though.
(I'm not just planning to drive, I'll volunteer to)
LitleMermaid 17-03-2009, 09:58 Aww bless you Scozzie :)
I don't know what to say-obviously I'd love you to get work, but I don't want you to think I don't wanna see you either. Can't seem to stop digging graves this week:hihi:
Ditto LM. Have pm'd Scozzie too. That's so good of you all.
If a little group can do some of the daytime I can do the evening shift and then we'll have Tesco covered for more than 12 hours. That would be great.
Jackie needs the funds so much. Or should I say the vet does!!
mummysaz21 17-03-2009, 18:59 i may be able to help but id have to bring my 10month old son sowwy
Tesco's is no good place for a 10 month old. It's worse than Sainsbury's!
Ah thanks so much Mummy, that's so good of you but I couldn't possibly accept your kind offer. Am very grateful though. Between Peaches, LM and Scozzie, Friday could well be sorted. Thanks again.
Just had a call from Jackie. She's gone on the bus to rescue a starving kitten on the Longley estate. More later ....

Oh God-how old is the kitten? Poor thing, and poor Jackie, it's never bloody ending is it?
Actually quite looking forward to Friday now, but nice to meet you finally magsie-and nice to see Peaches and Scozzie too:D
mummysaz21 17-03-2009, 20:56 ok no problem
pets@home 17-03-2009, 22:45 hi magsie you can put me down for a couple of hrs on sun 5th
I'm afraid I will have to withdraw my offer of lifts.
The guy from the HSBC who sold me my car insurance policy made so many mistakes with it, that it has been deemed 'invalid'. The first mistake he made cost me and extra £300 - now because he has made more - it will cost me another £500.
I REALLY like their 'like it or lump it' customer service policy.....
This is what we can offer you - we can refund the money already paid (but keep £100 for our greedy selves) - and you can go elsewhere - or you can pay what you owe to make sure you have a valid policy - we'll give the guy in the branch feedback'
sorry - rant over.
So - I will not be able to pick up or drive anyone. Sorry.

I hate HSBC.
I hate HSBC.
I really like them, actually. Its just that the people in the local branch have a collective brain capacity equivalent to a microscopic bacterior that lives in a monkeys rear end.
(There was one guy who was great - but he was transferred)
Had a thought - I cant help on any of these dates unfortunatley but could perhaps be a taxi service on friday if anyone going needs me to?? I cant reallly help out because of the kids but let me know if a taxi would be of use (could prob do some shopping while Im there anyway!!) :)
Hiya Sezbetz, thanks a very kind offer thank you. Might not need it cos only Peaches and LitleMermaid are coming on Friday but would you mind emailing me please as to which area you live in. Depending on where you live, love, a lift may be useful.
Thanks so much.
maggieskinner@blueyonder.co.uk.
My PM box gets full so quickly!! x
*Peaches* 19-03-2009, 17:19 What time day want us there Magsie?
Have PM'd you love. Anytime to suit you and LM.
Seems to be some confusion about the offer of taxi-ing you and LM.
LM said she would text Sarah but Sarah says she hasn't heard anything .......
A lift would be good for you both, at least one way xx
LitleMermaid 19-03-2009, 21:03 Grrrrr I have texted but didn't get a delivery report
Have just come back on to send Peaches a message to say about it!
