ideally around the Moor or in city center or around Heeley.

to clarify, this is a "fitness ball" type thing.

we've already tried to blow it up at a few service stations, but it appears the air hole to be of a smaller diameter than that for tyres.

anyone can assist?

Some foot pumps come with an assortment of adaptors.

Don't you need a needle like you do for footballs/basketballs/rugby balls ect?

Hi big bear. I work in a gym in town so we are constantly having to pump up the swiss balls. You can get a pump from most fitness shops ie get physical on ecclesall road. They have a unique adaptor but will not be too expensive. You could also pop into a gym and ask them if you could pump it up there. Only problem is they are quite big so would be a bit awkward on the bus ride home ;-)
