Totally over rated?

I can't stand him, don't find anything he does funny what so ever, he's just some really annoying idiot. Get of my screen! :hihi:

Is he the fat one who plays Stacey in the wildly-overrated soap opera "Gavin & Stacey"? If so, I concur.

He's as funny as a dose of Herpes! There's always one 'hip' british comedy that stays hip for about 2/3 years then people realise its ****e. Be the Mighty Booosh next to fade away.

I like him! As long as its him and the other bloke together I quite like them but seperately I don't think they amount to much. and I love Gavin and Stacey too, especially Uncle Brin.

I don't think it's him so much, more the BBC's obsession with him and his cockney mate.

They do it every time, find someone people like, and put them on every show going until we are sick of the sight of them.

Still at least it's shoved the tedious, crude and unfunny Little Britain out of the BBC spotlight so it's not all bad news.

I can't believe my licence fee contributed to that Little Britain USA they did, I don't want to be associated with that rubbish in any way, shape or form!

Have to agree with the majority on this one, the bloke is sooo unfunny.

Him and his muckers stint on the brits was dreadful. I also saw them on a comedy awards show where thet walked on and jumped on each other. WTF.

Terrible.

I liked Gavin and Stacy and I don't usually like that sort of thing but that new sketchshow doesn't look good at all. I can't wait for it to start so they can stop advertising with that awful pottery sketch.

Mat Horne does some DJ'ing as well, he's "played" at a club I worked at, haven't seen him but apparently just plays whatever the playlist is anyway, that and the fact you can barely see him means you wouldn't know he was on at all.

Haha but that is Rob Brydon and he is a funny guy. I think Gavin and Stacey is ok, but overhyped like most average programmes these days. As for James Cordon, I dont rate him as a comedy actor or writer.

Seems like a fair assessment to me.

Wasn't he trying to 'pull' some young thing that was completely out of his league, quite recently?

I've only seen the 2nd series of Gavin and Stacey, but I found it worth watching just for Rob Brydon's character :) James Corden is annoying, though, hate the way he squeals when he laughs.

I have to hold my hand up and admit that I laughed a couple of times at the fat ones motivational talk to the England football team on Comic Relief.

Please feel free to ridicule me and banish me to purgatory until a week next Sunday.

When he came on comic relief last night I will admit saying to the wife “ who is he” although I will have to admit the England sketch was funny.

Exactly. I loved the first series of Gavin and Stacey. I thought they were good on the Big Brothers Big Mouth programs, and the comic relief football sketch was tops.
Their sketch show last week was dire. I was embarrassed watching it. It was that bad.

The England sketch was great, although that wasn't really down to Corden - it was the fact he had the balls to say all this to the England team that was funny, not his delivery as such.

Wasn't a part of you hoping he was going to be completely blunt with them though?

"David James, your Englands number one goalie....and its a bloody worry!".

Also if he had clotheslined Ashley Cole off his chair, I would have donated a tenner.

Apparently a lot of the comments were added on after he had done the actual filming when the team were there.

As for his new "comedy" series he ought to stick to guest appearance every 2 years on Comic Relief in my opinion.
