Anyone else looking forward to this gig?
If it's anything like their BBCi session then we're in for a treat.
Anyone know if Richard Hawley will make a guest appearance on their song "The Fix"?
The BBCi session was fantastic, I've seen them at the Octagon and Leeds Academy in the last 18months and they were brilliant.
Gutted Im not going tomorrow.
I've had two friends reccommend seeing these live now as they are apparently amazing and leave people buzzing and on such a high
Enjoy :)
Anyone know:
What time are they onstage?
Who the support band is?
According to this website (http://www.clashmusic.com/news/elbow-announce-uk-live-support) the support is from The Acorns.
Elbow were brilliant. However, I wouldn't recommend getting tickets for the balcony at the Academy as there are far too many people up there and unless you're stood in the first two rows of people you won't be able to see.

Yes, they shouldn't be selling so many tickets for the balcony when it's obvious only about 20% of those people can actually see the stage.
The ground floor areas under the balcony aren't much cop for sight lines either.
Although it has a larger capacity than the Octagon, a lot of the extra people in the Academy have a very poor view.
So it's a bit of a rubbish venue really.

My only issue with the venue was the sticky floor, it's hard to tap your feet to the music!
I went early last night and was in the 2nd row so got a good position for the view & acoustics.
Amazing, Emotional, Mesmerising are some of the words to describe last night.
Oh and Sheffield legend Richard Hawley did make an appearance for "The Fix"
