Hi folks

I was always careful to create backup and restore points on my new site, then tried to add a link in the template for subsilver2, obviously got it wrong and now I get this error instead of the website-

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /freeola/users/7/8/sr1023787/htdocs/cache/tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.html.php on line 154

I cannot even get to my website page to restore it now- is the site lost, and what can I do? Freeola weren't much help.

Any advice gratefully received.

If you send me the faulty page (tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.html.php) by PM I'll take a look

I don't think it helps.

tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.html.php is a by product created from tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.html along with values created from the calling php.

It models itself on smarty template idea.

I haven't got phpbb3 installed but I think you need either:

tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.html

or possibly

tpl_subsilver2_overall_header.tpl

and/or the php file displayed in the URL.

Does Freeola even support PHP based forums? Or have MySQL database functionality for forums?

Ask on the phpBB forums. Leave it to the experts.

Don't tell me you never had the admin rescue kit installed?

I have had a recurrence to this problem (fixed before),similar to before but a different line (149)!

I have the bb code for the overall_header.html but don't know if I should post it here?

Are there any web designers etc on here that know how to fix phpbb3, for a small fee maybe?
