This is a real long shot, but I recently saw a post about a book which I thought sounded interesting. I intended to go back later and get details but I can't find it (it may not have been this forum)
All I can remember is that the author was James ... (somebody) and the three or four word title began with something like twisting, turning, tumbling.
I am just hoping someone knows the book from the details I can remember.
Have you had a look at the "I am currently reading" thread further down the page?

I've tried doing a forum search using the words James, twisting and tumbling and it came up with this interesting post (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=4734585&postcount=1). Hope that's a help.

Alchresearch - you are brilliant, I don't know how you found it from my less than useful clues, but thanks very much.

I'm a big James Follett fan and I think I put up the post about this trilogy. :)
