i have a blackberry storm on vodafone and the interet is not working on it , how can i get this to work any one know ? it was my partners contract fone but he cant get on with it so im having it for my payg sim does this have any impact on why its not working ?

it's a blackberry, you may be having problems because the phone number fro mthe sim and the phone number assosciated with the devices RIM ID no. disagree

Try Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card then hover over the phone number, hit the BB button then select edit SIM Phone Number. Should help if the mis-matched SIM is the problem. I have internet problems with my BB too - I often find removing the battery without switching it off helps. Probably not great for it but seeing as it's a work phone, I struggle to care too much...!

the girlfriend is using my storm and of course has a different number, so I guess that's sortable. She has no need to use the internet, so I can't help there.

been into the vodafone shop today and its because my sim is payg and blackberry internet and gps does not work with payg but thanks for all your help xx

you can if you get a certain PAYG orange sim
