Sorry for this rant but this has wound me up beyond belief! :rant:
I was driving along Manor Way from the manor towards Crickett in Rd and as I was passing the terraced houses before you get to the traffic lights a dog ran out in front of my car before disappearing behind some parked cars - there were no people about to be possible owners.
If I'd not been obeying the speed limit I'd have run it over, I had to brake very sharply nearly causing the prat in a transit behind me to crash in to me. Now I know it's not the dogs fault but I came very close to having hit it and would hate to have that on my consience and be responsible for the death of someones dog.
It's a really busy road and not everyone obeys the speed limit, I just wish people would ensure that their dogs are restrained before one gets knocked over. I realise that there's a possibility that the dog may have slipped the lead but at the moment I'm so livid that it's kind of faded into the background.
