There has been talk of ITV scrapping or at least substantially reducing local news shows like Calendar. personally i would not miss it. It is just full of crime and illness stories.

MR BENN 22-02-2009, 15:23 i agree with Rich -its better than look L***s. also id miss the lovely Christine Talbet ,Vicky Locklin and Kate Webster:love::love: CHAIRBOY 22-02-2009, 15:30 i agree with Rich -its better than look L***s. also id miss the lovely Christine Talbot ,Vicky Locklin and Kate Webster:love::love: Vicky for you Mr Benn http://www.vickylocklin.co.uk/html/index.htm I think the cuts have already started. I think the Calendar content is poor now. They used to have two visits to Calendar South and that has all been reduced. Ned Ludd 24-02-2009, 16:02 Is Calendar South still on at all? What days it it supposed to be on? Christine may be quite tasty but I prefer the local version MR BENN 24-02-2009, 16:08 Vicky for you Mr Benn http://www.vickylocklin.co.uk/html/index.htm I think the cuts have already started. Treatment 24-02-2009, 16:14 I think that scrapping it would do a lot of good for the Stock Exchange. MR BENN 24-02-2009, 16:16 I wouldn't miss it as I rarely watch any of the news content on ITV/ITN. i only watch calendar as its gives us local news -for everything else it sky news for me iceblast 24-02-2009, 16:52 I wouldnt. they bum leeds :P taxman 24-02-2009, 17:06 Haven't watched in years so wouldn't miss it a jot CHAIRBOY 24-02-2009, 17:58 Even worse this week with unctuous Duncan Wood having to do his best to keep his hands off the delightful Christine, practically sitting on her lap. Can he not work with anyone else? News content ? The usual host, Gaynor, failed miserably, trying to toss a pancake in Ripon. The set, pictures them near the Ponds Forge bridge but little news appertaining to Sheffield! sibon 24-02-2009, 18:04 I miss it every time that it is on. That's because it is intolerably poor. gixer 1000 14-03-2009, 15:54 wont even watch this any more |
