View Full Version : How many people have actually got forum T shirts?
I haven't seen anyone wearing a forum T shirt but would love it if I did. Does anyone wear them out? and if so have you had anyone approach you?.
Sorry if this has been done before but couldn't find owt in the search.
redrobbo 23-06-2005, 22:01 Come to a foum meet on a Sunday (Devonshire Cat, 8.00pm) - where there's usually a forummer wearing one.
I have been to a forum meet the other week and will go again as soon as I haven't got to be up at 4:30 the next morning cos I very much enjoyed it but I still didn't see anyone wearing a FtS. Have you got one Red?
Someone spotted me wearing one once and tried to run me down??...:suspect:
:hihi: :hihi:
only kiddin (not)
i wear mine when i out walking and never been stopped. but then again if i saw a 6ft 3 sweaty bloke coming towards me i wouldnt stop me either..........:hihi:
Having said that, there may have been one but with the vast array of lovely booze on sale it was very difficult to see:hihi: :hihi:
I wear mine at the gym or walking the dog..I have never worn it for a meet and nobody has ever introduced themselves to me as a forum member dispite my piccy being in the gallery (http://photos.sheffieldforum.co.uk/thumbnails.php?album=10) ...I thought I maybe recognised somewhere
Thanks for the pics. I know it would cost a bit more but I think a sort of polo shirt thing would have been better, not that you all don't look great or owt :hihi: just an observation.
yeah I do tend to agree I bought my T-shirt to show my support to the forum but I rarely wear T-shirts so it is pretty much back of the wardrobe fodder!!
What ever happened to the car sticker idea.....
yeah Me and my girlfriend both think the car sticker thing is miles better!
the original car sticker thread is here (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39120&highlight=car+sticker)
Maybe is should be Geoff's next project...
Yes they should sort this out. I have seen this thread before and think that the car sticker should be a very subtle sf or something like that. Secret squirrel stuff:suspect:
Bloody hell I think I've got strix itus:hihi:

No, I haven't got one owl74. Too poor to afford one. Plus they don't make them in extra, extra, extra large size (must do something about that diet one day), and I also like to stand out in a crowd with my snazzy, upmarket, clothes! :heyhey:
Please note that there are only 12 forum t-shirts left for sale - so now it's got to be make up your mind time owl74! No more when they've all gone!
Probably need xl or possibly xxl myself depending on the fitting, but seeing as there doesn't seem to be many people who
wear them I don't think i'll bother. would just like some forum id of some kind thats all.
What about a tattoo on the forehead:hihi:
ToryCynic 23-06-2005, 23:47 There was that "interesting" forum wave idea; when driving around, and someone let you go on a roundabout, didn't they both have to do forum waves or something?
:)

Now that's an O.K. idea! You go first though owl74! Thought of a design yet|? I mean, we need to recognise you after all!

BorisMarakas 24-06-2005, 00:19 My brother wore his to Cardiff when wednesday won, he said its a good shirt but a bit thick for a hot day, he got in a big sweaty mess.
WallBuilder 24-06-2005, 00:33 I've got one and have worn it out and about several times and as I can be spotted in various parts of the city I'm amazed no-one's approached me, well apart from one young lady who asked if I wanted to do business, that'll teach me to wander off down back streets.
It's presently awaiting a bit of a touch up with an iron but assuming I don't burn any big holes in it I will probably be wearing it in Graves park on Sunday at the transport show.
BorisMarakas 24-06-2005, 00:37 I may get one not sure, by the way wall builder nice dog.
I have a black lab also hes 7months, he is:loopy:
Nobody approached me when I was wearing mine this week :(
I was up a mountain in Scotland though :D

Why not contact me and ask if you're interested... but considering I stumbled across your post ( ) the answer is 50. And I can confirm that a) there are 4 left and b) this is not some marketing trick - these really are the last batch I will be making - they don't make money (less than £1 each) and were just a bit of (time consuming) fun.
:( sorry Geoff. I don't like to come running to you with these petty little things when I know you're a very busy person ;)
I was just curious as to the probability of bumping into somebody wearing one :)
I bought one a while back, I usually wear it to the Dev Cat meets on Sundays :D
50 produced now 3 left so 47 sold - why only 8 people in the Gallery....:|
Are you all shy????
:heyhey:
Gallery (http://photos.sheffieldforum.co.uk/thumbnails.php?album=10)
I've got one! Not got around to getting hubby to take a pic of me yet, but i'll get on to him again this week so i'll be able to make an addition to the gallery (hope you've got wide-screen) :hihi:
SpiderPete 31-07-2005, 21:19 Well I have just ordered one for a Sunday at the Dev.

I heard that if you buy a forum T and go to the Dev Cat for six weeks on the trot you are in with a chance of a Mods job :D
Now we know why Kirky has been going down there :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
I just recived mine today.
I will wear it when I am out with my ex colleagues from that wonderfull company "First South Yorkshire Buses"
Expect a lot more moaning about our excelent run transport system
