Concord Sports Centre in Shiregreen have a sauna and stream room and you can just turn up on the day and pay.

I was recommended the sauna at Concord by a friend, though it's a bit away from home I did give it a go. It is lovely, quiet and clean. On a few occasions I've planned a full day out to spend at the pool followed by the sauna and even treated myself to a treatment last year (on Mothers Day). Sometimes you just have to take time out and treat yourself...

I agree -people just don't give mother's the credit they deserve, it's the hardest job of all.

How I'd love to have a nice relax at the minute! Anyone know when mother's day is by the way?

there is a small sauna...hut... at Heeley swimming baths

i've used the one at Concord Sports Centre. Staff there are really nice.

I had a treatment up there the other day, was lovely. A really relaxing atmosphere!!
