Hello there friends of Sheffield,
Due to the success of the previous two yoga dance modules we are now introduceing the third module. So if you have not given it a go and fancy it now is your chance to try it. Yoga dance is modern, strong, dynamic and flowing. We will link a series of strong classical yoga postures into a flowing sequence.
This Dance Module, will commence on Friday 27th February, 6-7.30pm, Sharrow Performing Arts Space, S7 1BE and will run for 5-weeks, ending on Friday 27th March.
During the module you will learn:
Warm ups and body preps;
Strong, classical yoga postures;
A beautiful flowing dance;
Cool downs and a deep relaxation.
Here are some of the comments from students on the previous dance module:
"I loved the flow and energy of the class! Jo made the dance easy to learn, as well as giving more in-depth details on the asanas and mudras. The class is fun, but not too exerting; it strikes the perfect level and contrast to a day working in an office!" Kathryn, admin assistant.
"Taking part in the yoga dance module was a really enjoyable experience – it was satisfying to take asanas learnt at Yoga Nature and add new moves to turn them into a flowing dance. I feel the module has improved my balance and I feel I will be able to use what I have learnt in my yoga practice in the future, as well as practising the dance at home." Laurel, charity administrator
There are still some spaces available, so if you are interested please do get in touch as soon as you can.
Many thanks,
Jo
