I was in the Canary's earlier in the week and for a pack of 20 from a machine (not 16 like you get in the UK) its approx €2.10. That works out at approx £1.45 a pack!

I was tempted to remove my cars catalytic convertor immediately after the MOT test, simply to make up for the fact I dont smoke.
Instead I opted for burning car tyres in the early hours of the morning.

The cheapest packet I've bought so far, was in Laos. 1500 kip for 20 - that's just under 8 pence. :)

Here in China , the cheapest cigarettes are about 32p. a packet , going up to about a pound. Beer's cheap , too , incidentally------about a pint of draught Chinese beer [very nice----like a light -looking lager] is about 25p. and a fair-sized bottle of Tiger beer is between 75p. and a pound. Some countries have got their priorities right !
