i'm so rubbish at chosing presents for people and generally get them something they either don't want or just buy booze (not very thoughtful).

Its my friends birthday next week, he will be 28, i have about 30 quid to spend. i need to be able to pick it up from the town centre as that the only place i'll have time to visit. anyone any good ideas? what do you normally buy ?

i basically just need someone to tell me what to get because i'm selfish and am only interested in shopping if its for myself :D

What about something like £30 worth of amazon gift vouchers? or HMV vouchers.

Get him a new wallet, it's practical.

Or a cool T-shirt from Sa-Kis on division street.

Don't know how much it is per person but you could round up some mates to go paintballing and you pay for him.

Get him a facial and indian head massage at the spa in the Virgin gym.

(a facial sounds a bit gay but loads of blokes do it now)
