Hello,
I'm thinking about moving out of my awkward terraced house into a more accessible centrally based flat. Am trying to regain health so don't want to move into a tailored disabled flat/house which will encourage me not to try.
Ideally:
Around town centre
On/near tram route (buses are awkard in my chair as I can't turn easily)
Lift access or opportunity to rent ground floor level
Near some shops I can propel too without too many hills to contend with
Safe area to be out alone
Comes with parking (on street or allocated)
Anyone already looked into this and worked out which developments are well suited to a wheelchair users? Or any to avoid?
