View Full Version : February 2009 Unofficial SF Knitting meet - 25 Feb, 7pm The Wool Baa
Lucy-Lastic 17-02-2009, 10:01 Whoops, I forgot it was a short month this month :suspect: Its time for the February unofficial meet on Wednesday 25th Feb - to be held at the Wool Baa starting at 7pm. Could anyone who would like to go please say so in the poll as it gives Jill a quick way to gauge the amount of space needed in the shop? Thanks.
Mr&MrsRadish 17-02-2009, 22:37 Think the wallet on legs isn't working lates so i should be there, minus the boobies.
A sign you haven't been for a while Lisa! We get off the starting blocks at 7 p.m.:)

 not sure why I typed 7.30pm - its always been 7pm!
I will try to have actually finished something by then too... have taken to hiding all projects bar one and making myself finish things. I have managed ok so far, and finally finished a pair of socks in Jitterbug yarn - hurrah.
Back to the 2x2 rib socks now for the 5th time of knitting the second one (don't ask). I find it scarily hard to count to 2 sometimes...
peakwool 21-02-2009, 19:25 It might be nice to go this week!! What a knitting week!!
Hope to see you this month
Lucy-Lastic 24-02-2009, 13:45 Although I said in the poll that I wouldn't be able to come, Robin is now working from home so I have childcare - see you there :D
knitbird 24-02-2009, 19:35 I might be able to come along - but if I do I'll be rudely late. I just have no manners at all..
Glitter Star 24-02-2009, 20:51 Sorry for the late notice, but I'll be there. I'm looking forward to it.
Plain Talker 24-02-2009, 22:53 I have my night school class again this month, so I shan't make it again till probably march's meet :( :( (that's if Easter doesn't interfere with the plans) sorry everyone.
pixiepear 25-02-2009, 09:25 I will be there! Just need to decide which of many unfinished WIPs to bring...looking forward to it.
I won't. I'm taking advantage of not having a rehearsal to go to another of my Wednesday night options!
Wool4brains 25-02-2009, 22:42 Thank you Jill for hosting tonight's party/meeting. The tea was as good as ever and the company sparkling.
Thanks Jill for providing the oceans of tea and the fantastic knitting company. Shame I had to frog all I did.
Lucy-Lastic 26-02-2009, 11:06 Thanks Jill - it was lovely :D I too frogged all that I did too - found I had decreased by an odd number of stitches and the guess of where I should have put back my naughty stitch marker was not right
Thank you Jill! Wonderful, as always.
