Hi, Can anyone help me with setting up my XDA so I can run my sat nav in my car? I have tried to do it but not to sure if I have to input something? please help me from getting lost, lol. The Tom Tom software is installed, I dont know how to run it!

where are you stuck now then? and what receiver do you have? is it wired or BT?

Im not sure what receiver it is it came with the XDA I thought I should be able to just plug it in and play.I have set the receiver up in the car and powered it up while plugged in to the unit. Do I have to go to programs on XDA to enable it?

if its wired, no, you need to open TomTom goto:

Preferences > Show GPS Status > Configure > Other Cable NMEA GPS > Set the Baud Rate > Select the Com Port...

It trys connecting but then says cannot connect.
I then get a box that says the answerering modem has disconnected. to check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings.
then I have an option of settings or dismiss.
I think i need to input settings or something??

you shouldnt need to. id RTFM see if that helps mate.
