We have had work done to our home by FHM and we have found them terrible, we have had problem after problem after problem they have promised me so many things and are now not following them thru, I am so angry and fed up with them, I know im not alone, how many others like me is there out there????

Are they working on the council houses?? I think I may he seen the vans..

I think has been alot of complaints about work done on all the council housing I saw something in the sheffield star about someone leaving a whole in a wall and rodents getting in? not sure who the contractor was?

Yes they are utter crap, while I am pleased with most things they have bodged a large amount of things, they don't finish things off properly, like screwing nails in properly, big lumps on new skimmed walls, they don't clear away their rubble, our loft was partially boarded before and now we have no boards while means we can't put anything up there, I could write a long, long list but I don't have the time or the patience plus my blood pressure may rise if I start. So disappointed with what they have done.

yes...same problems here... jobs half done....skimpping on work...doing a bit then nothing at all....really shoddy work AND after 10 reports for an inspector to view they either turn up and say ill get someone to sort it...then it gets forgot...or no one ever bothered to show up at all...i was glad to see the back of them and finished off what i could myself...including a central heating cupboard that they broke and never came back to sort! the new heating system when working is good BUT i said when working...weve had nothing but breaking down since it was installed...oh and they put the new windows in OVER my sky cables...the sky went down and all the window and frame had to be removed!! FHM....useless.... however although it may not help you...after the work is done you get a call from housing asking about work, and everything they have done...voice your problems and concerns...i did

as a painter & decorator ive been on quite a few jobs when the tenant has phoned me up to go a give them a quote for work, and the some of the things i`ve seen is appalling workmanship

Someone from them is coming into Sheffield Hallam Uni to do a 'guest' lecture in the coming weeks....haha, I may print this page off and see what they say :p

Oh and another thing they did or didnt do, they moved the phone socket, kept a box round the old one, we were meant to get switched on on Thursday by BT and it couldnt happen cos low and behold FHM had cut the wire which meant both boxes were useless which meant we had to get BT engineer to come out, which he did today and said to send the bill to Sanctuary cos he had to install a new phone line cos it was missing!

yeah they are total cowboys. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Only do half a job
