All in a lovely HTML format email that looked just like it had come from paypal!

Needless to say, I don't pay $607.25 USD for sex toys!

Obviously it's the latest scam, the email had (paypal like) links in that I didn't click on, that didin't take me to a website, where I didn't enter any credit card details etc.

And is it just me, or does anyone else think $607.25 USD is a little steep for a 'Masturbator / MS-38' !?

Thanks for the Paypal warning though....

Just forward all Ebay emails to spoof@ebay.com and you'll get a pretty instant reply telling you if it's genuine or a spoof.

I believe Ebay have now set up a messaging system when you log into My Ebay, so emails will be a thing of the past with them.

Or, more relevant in this case, forward it to spoof@paypal.com and you'll get a patronising reply telling you not to do obviously daft things like give out your personal info on fake websites.

Just ignore it. I get at least a dozen similar emails every day.
