Saturday

NEW ORDER
The Coral

Glenn Tilbrook

What a fantastic lineup!

Ryan Adams isn't playing any more.

Probably cos someone shouted out "Summer of '69!" one too many times at him - apparently this really gets on his nerves!

I'd be down there like a shot if any of the following were to perform:

Rick Astley

The Nolans

Bananarama

2Unlimited

Arthur Mullard (they'd have to shovel him up)

Orville

The Flying Pickets

St Winifred's School Choir

Kriss Kross

Wow, I can see the queue for tickets now.....,

I'd be spoilt for choice but Basement Jaxx and Chas & Dave would be top of my list.

I've seen them before and they are fantastic live.

Basement Jaxx should get Chas and Dave on their next record. That would be a reeeet humdinger.

Maybe if he wrote some decent songs people wouldn't chant for some awful canadian monstrosity masquerading as a musician.

watched the coverage on tv last night and it looked pretty appauling. What a rubbish line up.

I would probably do what I always used to do when I went to Glastonbury (1983-86 & 1989-91): have a list of artists I was really excited about seeing, turn up at the festival, and then manage to miss every one of them, but have a bloody great time anyway discovering things I never knew I would like, or even knew existed.

On that list I would probably have Squarepusher, Chas'n'Dave and the White Stripes. These are just from the ones listed about, as I'm not sure who else is playing.

ok, nicole has been and conquered (and has the mud to prove it) i saw....

The Killers, The Zutons, The Thrills, The Undertones, The Subways, Keane, The Coral, Kaiser Chiefs, The Others, Razorlight, Kasabian, Athlete, The Dears, Soulwax, Bright Eyes, James Blunt, Jem, The Levellers, Bloc Party, The Editors

Ok, think thats it....they were all so good, except i was really disappointed with Bright Eyes as i think he made an idiot of himself but he did get to kiss a naked girl on stage, so everyone was a winner

I'm so envious! :)

Still, I got to see some of it on the telly :P Saturday in particular looked like it was a fabulous experience - I'd loved to have been there.

The Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian delivered blinding sets from what I saw - and New Order - well, what can I say? Brilliant.

Also really enjoyed Ian Brown's performance and the Futureheads. I'll be looking out for them in future. Great stuff.

And Ash - they looked eactly the same as they did ten years ago! What are they on? I want some of it! :D
