Great performance from the lads today,hendrie and cotts were the difference and I am baffled as to why he took hendrie off?
Just a shame he didnt play that side against the pigs last week,and talking of the piggies well done to donny for beating em.:thumbsup:

God knows why we chose to play that game without our regular captain, and a defender in his midfield place (though Zayatte did score ours so not without merit) - but the lack of cohesion showed.

Have to admit, we were brighter in the 1st half than the 2nd - United seemed the better team for much of the 2nd half with the ball spending most of the time at the kop end, also partly thanks to our LB having a rare "off day"

So apologies to your "Blackwell Out"-ers that we couldn't do more to further your cause today.......

You could say well played Blades but in a way its a chance lost, it will be a toughie at the Kc now.

As many as you gave us tickets....the exact number of which I am not sure. I was told about 5000, but being in the lower tier westfield corner it was hard to visualise how many.

not totally true mate. you get 5,000 approx. and if you sell them you can apply for another 2,000. you did'nt apply for the other 2,000. thats why a third of the lane end upper was closed. we'll sell out at yours.

it should be charlton and hull stubs first season tkt or not. then season tkt holders without stubs.

If season ticket holders didn't want to goto the first game at the Lane, i'd think it'd be even less likely they'd want to go somewhere like Hull for the replay (unless they live out that way)...
