Does anyone remember the Old Green Dragon Pub on attercliffe Road in the 60's

are you sure it was the bradley family and was there nine of them was that in the 50's or 60's

Mid sixties I think,and definately was called bradley. dont know how many exactly but there was alot!

Yes the landlord had a Myna bird on the bar,

Green Dragon became the BULLDOG the reason was the then landlord Arthur Sayles bred Bulldogs. Name change was about 1958

Fred Lee kept the Dog and Partridge and bred Bull Terriers.

no the green dragon was always the green dragon up until it was demolished, and the landlord and landlady was fred and doris bradley.

The Bulldog and The Green Dragon were 2 separate pubs.

the bulldog was on the corner of washford road and atterclifferoad the green dragon was on the corner of bodmin street and attercliffe road

sorry Bobsville but the Green Dragon was on the corner of Attercliffe road and Baldwin Street not Bodmin street according to my 1929 Kelly's there was no pub on the corner of Bodmin street.

A hire shop was on the site of the green dragon,until it closed and it now sells tyres etc.
