Sounds like a load of BULL***T as usual...More political propaganda! Ifs, when's and maybe's don't get the club outta the mire! There's always been too much of the ifs and whens regarding any investment, don't believe it until Kaka runs out wearing a wednesday shirt!!! (I hope he can still kick a ball when he's 70!) :hihi: Up the Owls!!!

The day after March 31st is ???????? Once again you are being baffled by smoke and mirrors no investment is coming, somebody on another footie board says the bank is going to write of your debt sure they are, 30million and going bust ha ha,

These new directors have done nothing except bring more fans in for nothing lost £200,000 in shirt sponorship and surely the bank cant be happy with that, but never mind the banks are season ticket holders happy with that, they have paid for their seats already watching all these people getting in for nothing must surely grind on them, the worse thing could be that come renewal time they think hang on if I dont renew they will let us in for nothing if the crowds drop so what is the incentive to renew and then you will really be in the soft and smelly

You just sound very scared that something good is going to happen to Wednesday. I have every confidence in Lee Strafford and Nick Parker and that they will deliver this investment. They have already done a bloody good job already in the short space of time they've been there. Wednesday are better off already, bringing in investment will just make it all that better and easier.

having a partner who has had 2 strokes makes it difficult ,as im her carer now ,as she is bed ridden for long periods.

I don't know why you are just knocking it, when you have no facts to claim that we won't get investment. I have no facts either, it might not happen, but from the looks of it, it is close to coming to fruition and Lee Strafford will be trying his bloody hardest to make it happen. Next time you will see the Owls amass all out on Fargate, will be when we've just won promotion back to the Premiership :)

Cacking it, eh? Major difference between this investment and the Sheard fiasco - all the talk is coming from the club, instead of being paper talk and messageboard rumour.

These new directors have done nothing except bring more fans in? How very dare they. Your "reasoning" about ticket prices is as flawed as Kevin Blackwell's tactics.

I never said all was well at Bramall Lane I know we are a selling club and we are having our wings clipped and I have followed the Blades long enough to know that they will always break your heart in the end.

Im just a realist and don't spout about anything until it happpens that way I am never disappointed, 30 million in debt and your clutching at straws.

PS I am weird I have followed the Blades for over 45 yeras

You spouting crap, such as that we'll never never get investment, yet Strafford has said we're in track, Sheard etc, never had positive updates, all came through the press. I wouldn't call it clutching at straws. Cannot wait until this is all finalised, because for once, I think it is going to happen.

As for spouting crap no I am only spouting what I know, do you really know your getting investment at the moment I know as much as you, what I read in the papers and what is said on the radio/TV and I have not heard one single word saying that we have signed a deal for 50p never mind 50million have you?

how many things did you see/ hear in the papers etc about the sheard deal, plenty was said, deadlines set and nothing happenned. the club have set the 31st march as a deadline for when the deal should be done. after the last fiasco, no news is good news

it was stated on the day he joined the club ,that he was NOT investng the club ,but was there to try to seal the investment deal .

by the sounds of it , this deal with the bank was needed for the investment deal to go through- understandable , the investers will want ther money going to the club not to the bank paying off debts , and ths will mean more money being spent on the club .

Wonder what the co-op bank members think about writing £11 million off for a football team?. They are not exactly getting massive interest on their savings at the moment and their bank might be giving away £11 million . The only reason for this can be that half is better than nothing if the club goes into liquidation. Are wednesday that close to it then?.

the only people that know that are the club, bank and syndicate, rest of us know nothing really. i doubt we are close to liqiudation but like you and anyone on here i doubt we will never know.

The proposed bank write off of £11m seems strange epecially as they are supposed to be struggling .

it does but we dont know the ins and outs of this supposed deal and even if it really is half of what we owe. banks are desperate to get away from football clubs so maybe its in their best interests to write off half, i dont know but us on the outside dont know anything to do with this investment or deal with the bank, its all rumours as far as i know, so we'll have to wait and see

there is obviously some incentive for the bank to agree to this . is it possibel by agreeing to write off 11 million , in return the debt will be repaid in full straight away by the investment group -hence the bank getting a lump sum of cash instead of small amounts over many years.

exactly, the bank arent going to do this unless its in their best interests. i dont know if we'll ever know though, i'm just waiting to see if this investment happens first then i'll maybe be bothered about how its happened

isn't that the point of giving people loans? making a profit over a period of time.

yes it is but if they want out of football they wont wabt to keep the loan for the years we've got it for, might be easier for them to do like mr benn said but its all just speculation at the moment

it is ,but if the bank need capital ,which is what they need at present , this sort of deal suits them perfectly ,if this is what is happening -it might not be
