Not exactly celebrating a 1-0 defeat, but I know what you mean! Although it did very very slightly cheer me up when I was shuffling out of the Keepmoat remembering that I'd predicted a 1-0 loss on here.

I was going to have Halford as well - no really, I had him for the first scorer last week too. Then I changed my mind and reckoned Hull would score first.


CB - what's the deal with 50 points for the scorer anyway? Seems a bit much - one lucky guess on the scorer could mean somebody with average predictions winning the competition above somebody who's been consistently making good predictions all season. Why 50 now, when for the third round it was only an extra 10 points for getting the scorer - which seems about right to me, being the same points value as a couple of correct scores.

However, I wasn't moaning, I just asked a genuine question about why there was a seemingly very high 50 points on offer for first goalscorer this week and last week, when there were only 20 points on offer for the goalscorer in the first derby and the FA Cup 3rd and 4th rounds (I'd put 10 points in my original post but it was actually 20) - the thread then degenerated into the usual bickering from the usual suspects.
