I want to download a tutorial from U-tube to use in a presentation as i dont think i will have live internet connection at the time. Its a 'Creative Commons License Attribution-Share Alike 3' for public consumption!! I have contacted the university who have created it but dont know if i will hear back in time!

Can anyone who is good with this sort of thing help?!

My understanding is that you are allowed to display/perform, non-commercially, so long as you attribute the author(s).

If you go on to http://www.download.com and type in the search engine youtube downloader it should bring one up

Really easy way to do it, no additional software required:

Simply type 'pwn' before 'youtube', i.e.

Change

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDyBalB3U7o&feature=rec-HM-rev-rn

to

http://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=kDyBalB3U7o&feature=rec-HM-rev-rn

You will then be sent to a page with 2 links, one high-res, one normal.

i use either www.vixy.net or http://www.catchvideo.net/online-video-converter.aspx?lang=en

u simply paste link and select what video format you would like it to download it in.

i tend to use catchvideo because it is quick as vixy.net don't always work for me.
