Was probably at fault for there goal but he will learn from it. I still think they should use him at right back when rio returns to the team. adam1swfc 12-02-2009, 10:52 He did well apart from gifting them the ball for there goal scottf 12-02-2009, 12:03 He did well apart from gifting them the ball for there goal I would hardly say he gifted them the ball? The only thing he should have done is push out quicker- after that it was all down to luck of the bounce into the space to the right of villa and his deadly finishing! NEKRO138 12-02-2009, 12:04 I would hardly say he gifted them the ball? The only thing he should have done is push out quicker- after that it was all down to luck of the bounce into the space to the right of villa and his deadly finishing! Did he not just pass it really loosely into the midfield, where no one but Spanish players were? scottf 12-02-2009, 12:06 He cleared the ball- its not like he ment to pass it to there attacker! NEKRO138 12-02-2009, 12:09 He cleared the ball- its not like he ment to pass it to there attacker! It was a bit of an odd clearance though! I'm not knocking him, he's been brilliant this season and he is still learning. I too would like to see him stay at right back. Robbie Loving 12-02-2009, 15:12 Well done Jags. Yes he may have been at fault for the first, but hey it happens to the best of the them. Good performance overall from him though and Torres was again in his back pocket. Oh and yes he is a Manc, I believe he started his career off at Everton Academy too before coming to the Blades. He's an adopted Sheffield ;) Thingything 12-02-2009, 15:17 Well done jags- i thought he had a good game- managed to get james out of trouble when he failed to catch the ball. Was probably at fault for there goal but he will learn from it. I still think they should use him at right back when rio returns to the team. probably at fault!!! did you see the game? adam1swfc 12-02-2009, 16:25 I would hardly say he gifted them the ball? The only thing he should have done is push out quicker- after that it was all down to luck of the bounce into the space to the right of villa and his deadly finishing! Well I would. He had the ball, under very little pressure, and tried to pass it to Carrick. It was a poor ball and literally went to the Spanish player. He gifted them the ball. Apart from that he did well, and kept Torres fairly quiet like he had done in the recent games against Liverpool. Waddle 13-02-2009, 08:56 I think Jags is a legend no matter what he does for the rest of his career. Good luck to him. That handball against Wigan was an absolute classic |
