Can anybody please recommend me a records shop in either of the above areas - somewhere that sells a lot of house/trance ideally?

Record Collector is a fine record shop - but you'll find very little trance or house there -

Why dont you go into town like most folk do & shop at The Store, Reflex, Cool Wax, that one in the Forum or Studio Beatz - or take a trip out to Hunters bar to Low Life

If its just to sell tix - Record Collector dont really bother anymore - too much trouble supposedly.

Headcharge used to use the Stash Box (what a great name... well maybe not...) - the head shop in Broomhill. You could think a bit laterally and get the Indian Chef or Jaflong in Crookes to sell tix if you're desperate!

Most nights I've been to that do tix just tend to use town outlets and then Forever Changes or Lowlife in Hunters Bar and occasionally Airy Fairy and Kick Ass Angel on London Rd.

Already using most of those - I might try The Place or somewhere.

A very, very dangerous place for me to venture into. The last time I went in there for a "browse" I came out considerably financially lighter.

It has similar mystical properties to Fopp, money strangely flys out of my wallet and I get bags of CD's thrusted upon me ........ spooky :hihi:
