his club wanted £15 million but united could only get him by paying half
now & the other half later,so his club sent only half a striker:)

the blades are desperate for some height in the squad , think within the next few weeks there will be a few changes ,problem is if they are playing the waiting game because they need them for the play offs it could backfire and be too late .looking at the blades run in they look good for a top six position, wednesday on the other hand look up against it.

The date for taking on loanees, who could then (in theory!) play in the playoff final is around Feb 22nd apparently - United have I believe just one league game before then, so are probably taking a calculated gamble... if it's worth bringing someone in, then you'd want them right to the end of the season really... You'd be gutted to bring in a striker who gets 15 goals in the run-in, then has to sit out the final!
