Appolo 10-02-2009, 18:48 http://i40.tinypic.com/175xxi.jpg Looks pretty good, lets hope we dont play hoofball with him up front! his club wanted £15 million but united could only get him by paying half now & the other half later,so his club sent only half a striker:) MR BENN 10-02-2009, 19:43 http://i40.tinypic.com/175xxi.jpg Looks pretty good, lets hope we dont play hoofball with him up front! will fit in with your other physically challenged strikers sheff71 10-02-2009, 19:54 will fit in with your other physically challenged strikers He could run through Beevers' legs... although saying that, Ward probably could've too :) MR BENN 10-02-2009, 20:00 He could run through Beevers' legs... although saying that, Ward probably could've too :) without a doubt snackpot 10-02-2009, 20:02 he would be no good at the lane , he's got no one to look up to . Rocklegend 10-02-2009, 20:15 Superb.:D:D:D snackpot 10-02-2009, 20:20 the blades are desperate for some height in the squad , think within the next few weeks there will be a few changes ,problem is if they are playing the waiting game because they need them for the play offs it could backfire and be too late .looking at the blades run in they look good for a top six position, wednesday on the other hand look up against it. Appolo 10-02-2009, 20:23 SWFC gave him a trial last year but every time he went up field he nearly drowned:) snackpot 10-02-2009, 20:28 SWFC gave him a trial last year but every time he went up field he nearly drowned:) didn't they film free willy there?. sheff71 10-02-2009, 20:46 the blades are desperate for some height in the squad , think within the next few weeks there will be a few changes ,problem is if they are playing the waiting game because they need them for the play offs it could backfire and be too late .looking at the blades run in they look good for a top six position, wednesday on the other hand look up against it. The date for taking on loanees, who could then (in theory!) play in the playoff final is around Feb 22nd apparently - United have I believe just one league game before then, so are probably taking a calculated gamble... if it's worth bringing someone in, then you'd want them right to the end of the season really... You'd be gutted to bring in a striker who gets 15 goals in the run-in, then has to sit out the final! |
