View Full Version : Last Minute Flights - Advice Needed
mjlacey21 22-06-2005, 08:28 Can anyone recommend somewhere (preferably the cheapest place!) to book a last minute flight to Amsterdam this weekend?
Never booked last minute before so I'm not 100% sure how it works!
MuteWitness 22-06-2005, 08:39 thompsonfly.com - you print confirmation and thats what you use to check in theres no tickets
easyjet fly cheaply to amsterdam too i think- altho if your flying last minute its not really THAT cheap!!!
mjlacey21 22-06-2005, 09:12 That's the problem - all the cheap airlines cost more the closer to the date you book.
sally_sheff 22-06-2005, 09:24 have you tried looking on teletext? i usually book my last minute holidays here and have had some bargains
or even go to a travel agent- i know it seems daft but they may be able to help you!!!
mjlacey21 22-06-2005, 09:41 Had a look at Teletext but they all seem to be London flights. Stuck at work so can't get to Travel Agents.
Will consider other destinations if anyone has a suggestion?
www.lastminute.com is good!!
OR- ill tell u what marie- just turning up at the airport is a great way to get a dead cheap holiday!!!!
mjlacey21 22-06-2005, 11:21 Tat is the other plan - but I don't want to waste my limited time off if it goes tits up.
Cheers Scott

theflyingfish 22-06-2005, 12:54 compare all the cheap flight providers on this website easy quote (http://www.easy-quote.co.uk). V useful site indeed.
mjlacey21 22-06-2005, 13:30 That website is great! Thanks flyingfish! You can compare more than one website and airport's prices at the same time.
