The sun is shining, I've had a most satisfactory bowel evacuation and a good cup of coffee.

A Scot I used to work with - who when he moved down thought you could warm up a pork pie in the oven - used to say that for him happiness was a dry f*rt (he liked to drink.)

I suppose this is what is meant by the happiness of small things.

Remembered to take salmon fillets out of the freezer before I came to work.

So it's salmon for tea grilled on my lean mean George Formby grilling machine served with a nice salad and dill mustard. To follow a bowl of caramelised apples - anyone want the recipe? - topped with creme fraiche and a nice glass of guava juice.
