I'm an unhappy peson. are you happy or unhappy?

I wouldnt like to say i was unhappy because my problems are very small. Working at the hospital has made me realise how fortunate i am and moaning over trivial things and getting down about silly things that can easily be sorted is a waste of time.

At the moment Very Very Happy :D

Lech Walesa - now there was an honest pole! But is he happy? I guess we'll never know.

Sometimes, I'm deliriously happy.

Other times, I'm completely depressed.

I think I have a naturally melancholy disposition ;) At the moment though I am very happy and even when I'm feeling a bit down that tends to be more because I am worried about something than because I am unhappy with the state of affairs.

Bit of both I think.. but we all have good days and bad ones.
Haven't got anything to really moan about.

I'm happy! I sometimes don't look so happy, but I am!

I have been very ill all my life, but I'm stable at the moment and more importantly, alive! Life is good!

I am getting a puppy, I have a beautiful cat who lives with me, I have both my parents and my little sister.

I am in college (which in itself can be awful) getting qualifications to go onto a great career.

I have a beautiful room that my parents did for me, without me even knowing and is in the attic so is VERY big!

We're finally at a comfortable stage in finances and it takes the stress off a lot.

Life is good! :D

at the moment i am in "no mans land" with happy or unhappy.. so i voted fish:D

I am happy.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I have a good life, lovely hubby, young wonderful child, stupid cat, good friends, amazing job, lovely home and in great health. I often want more but that's human nature and an old trait of mine which got me to this position in the first place - good old fashioned hard work and determination.

I have known unhappiness and expect to know it again as that is part of life. But for now - I am a lucky girl and going to enjoy it. Sorry things are not great for you Robbie but thanks for reminding me I am happy. Gosh - that sounds horrid, hope you know what I mean.

if i could be both i would, but id say im happy, as my problems are minor compared to most of the worlds!

today i feel unhappy. 1. because i'm hungover and at work, 2. because i spent all my money (in New York tho - so that makes me feel a bit better!) and 3. for reasons i don't want to go into

im happy and unhappy at the mo. genrally im quite optimistic about life. i feel ive bin quite lucky and i dont regret anything thats happeend cos i belive things happen for a reason but that if u want things to happen for u then u have got to go for them instead of waiting for stuff to happen. the only reason im a bit unhappy today is that i wanted to drop one of me subjects and then i had to convince him to let me drop it by saying that i dint need it for uni course. it got me thinking about what im gonna do after college and i have no idea what im gonna do! i dont know wether im going to go to uni or not or what job im gonna get. and its got me really worrying about the future!! so thats why im a bit unhappy.

I'm always happy, well pleased with life if that the same thing, i don't actually go around laughing out loud !

As long as all my family's content and pleased with there life style thats the main thing for now .

I've always been a really happy person. I'd argue that with the right thinking anyone can work hard and be happier but I've always seeemd to be lucky.

The key to happiness is different for everyone, but in my case it is being dreamy and naive, and ignoring the abuse :) . You cant have everything, so i'll take untold joy rather than being on the ball, thankyerverymuch.

I can be a bit of a pessimist. My mother is a real 'glass-half-empty' person, and can be very draining, so I think I've got it from her.

I have to keep reminding myself to look on the bright side and count my blessings (of which there are many), or I find myself falling into a bit of a rut.

I've very envious of naturally positive people... Any of you lot in the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed brigade got any happiness tips???

I'm generally a happy person but someone in my office has just ticked me off by being an extreme pedant!! RRrrrrrr!!!

Usually I'm a grumpy, morose git who makes Victor Meldrew look like he's on the anti depressants but I'm insanely happy of late.

I'm hopefully going into a promising career, I've got a fiancee who I love very much, I'm solvent, my health is good, I'm at peace with myself and life in general is good. It's hard to be sad when everything is peachy :)

My attitude to life is take what you've got and make the most of it.

As far as I'm concerned, life is what you make it and you make your own happiness.

I have been ill but I prefer to look at the fact that it helped me to understand other people better, help people with the same rare disease and start up a support group (not asking for praise, just explaining!)

I prefer to look at what good came out of it, like when I missed a year off school right before my GCSEs but I knew I was off school so worked hard (there was nothing else to do in the hospital!) and got great grades! My results wouldn't have been as good if I had attended school because I wouldn't have felt the same urgency.

So, always look on the bright side and 'why cry when you could be laughing?'

Great post, Lotti :thumbsup: - I love your attitude.

One of the keys to being happy seems to be to concentrate on what you HAVE got in your life, rather than what you haven't. Concentrating on the negative is bound to make anyone miserable, it's so unhealthy.

Not an 'everything's coming up roses', Pollyannish-type mindless optimism, just an honest appreciation of what is good in your life.

Not that I'm very good at putting it into practice.... :suspect:

I am generally a happy chap,always up for a laugh and all that.Feel a bit crap at the moment though.Missus off work ill,middle of moving house.But,I still like to have a giggle and try to cheer people up.

But,everyone says I have a miserable face.I like to call it deadpan!!

I'm happy someone spent all his money in New York, that maybe reduced my taxes a nickel.
Happiness is 3 gorgeous infant grand daughters who think the sun shines out of my you know what'
A superb Irish wife who is also my best friend.
Friends galore who think my Yorkshire accent is funny, while I tell them they are the ones with an accent, not me. ( we invented the language, Yanks )
A nice little 2 litre car, which, unlike my wife, never complains at my driving.
Finally, a country which, despite its many faults, welcomed me into its fold without question, and gave me all the freedoms I enjoyed in my native land, with a bit more space to enjoy.
