Is it me or dont these places exist in town?

I'm looking for somewhere in town that you can sit and have a good meal and good conversation, without it being too far away from the town centre.

Any recommendations people?

Try brb's on West Street, they serve excellent pizzas (try the duck one, it is divine) and have a beer garden. Nice mix of students and young professionals and the beer is at the right price.
