The restaurant in Kumquat Mae, but it was closed when I went....has any eaten there ???
Try and get hold of a copy of Pulse, a quarterly mag by Sheffield Vegan Society it has up to date restaurant listings in the back. See here too:
http://www.sheffieldvegansociety.org.uk/
Click on S.Yorkshire for the listings.
My favs are:
Fat Cat for Sunday meal and a glass of scrumpy.
Kumquat Mae is very nice too, and I've heard good things about their other outlet in one of the antiques places on Broadfield road.
A new veg cafe has opened in Nether Edge, across from Zed's Wholefoods, I've not been yet.
Also little known is New Roots cafe near the junction of Hallcar St and Spital Hill in Pitsmoor. Good cakes I hear.
Cheers
Or if you're in town, and want a change from the Blue Moon, try -
Zoobys in the Winter Gardens for the best panninis in town
Alfie and Bellas on Howard Street for fab veggie/vegan pizzas
22a on Norfolk Street for snacks, dips, potato wedges etc.
These places are all very veggie friendly, and need supporting!
