any sort of violence is unacceptable. if that guy was doing as you said then he should be punished as should the yobs throwing things at hillsborough corner. trouble makers on either side, just wish there was a way of banning them all

dont think any wendys were out to have any bother with. after game went in barrell, railway, lion, crown, beer engine. about 8 bells we got a fleet off taxi's up to west street finished in players before i made my way home about midnight. never saw a pig all night every pub packed with blades,

alot might of headed straight to hillsborough or just not let it be known they were wednesdayites, best way to keep out of trouble really

because he's a season ticket holder:loopy: i have sat in the utd end for a derby and vowed never to again, no way you can enjoy the match sitting with the home fans. if i could of got a ticket on the away end then i would of been there in a flash but as i'm not a season ticket holder, no chance:(

for such an historic event for you. surely it was all about being there. even if you have to sit with blades and keep quiet.

as i said before i have done that and not enjoyed it 1 bit. at least i could celebrate with wednesday fans at the beam back rather than trying to keep quiet in utd end. i still saw the game and if you dont think thats enjoying the moment then thats upto you. all i know is there was 9k fans in hillsborough that enjoyed seeing us do the double over you, was a fantastic time.

I think the "40 year old blade" was an estimation of the gentleman's age, rather than an accurate depiction right down to the day of said gentleman's birth.

the way I see it, United seem to have more than their fair share of scumbags. Ok Wednesday have some but United seem to have lots. Bramall lane is a very intimidating place to go for Wednesday fans on derby day. We're not talking a handful of idiots, were talking several hundred. I personally saw blades fans no older than 25 attack an older Wednesday fan in his 50's if not his 60's who was alone. I wouldn't suggest for one minute these blades were "bbc" as some of them were wearing blades shirts. This guy bladesbloke obviously is one of the "bbc" and needs to grow up big style!

Just for your info, the Blades in question walked past Hillsborough corner around half an hour before the game started at Hillsborough. They and I got off the tram outside of Rawson Springs as it turned off to Malin Bridge. Only to be showered with bottles and pint pots from the so called "fans".

Anyways, this thread has run its course.
