Anyone know of any good beginners classes? Or have much experience of it? Sitting in this crappy chair at work it turning me into a hunchback. (I thought my excessive drinking was making my kidneys explode).. Doctor says it's a posture thing and she had similar problems and Pilates helped..
At least I can carry on drinking cider till I fall over.

Pilates is wonderful for your back and posture (and tummy), yes.

I'm keen to find a class as well, so would be interested in any replies too.

Neeeeeeeeeek

You are allowed to get up off your chair and go for a walk you know.

Its not the alcohol thats doing it, its that weird stuff you fill your teapot with, its suspiciously yellow.

Some of us have work to do moses!
Anyway, with all your free time you should be able to help me and Sparkle out. Come on, do something useful for a change. :D

I used to go to a class at Graves Sports Centre, I think it was on a Thursday about 6.00pm. I am sure it will still be there, I should ring and check though first. It was great for stretching out the muscles.

I know of someone called Jeni Hancock, she is very good and experienced.

She is based just off Eccy Rd.

Try ringing her base at Clinic One on 0114 236 4141 (from Jan)

I think she runs about 6 classes a week.

Her website is something like sheffield pilates dot co dot uk
