View Full Version : Fascinators and Embellished Clips...New Pics!
sophiec1979 07-02-2009, 17:16 having had a mega productive week (one thing the snow was good for!) im proud to announce that ive just uploaded the lastest pics of my offerings for the craft mafia fair next saturday.
the new pics can be found in the links in my signature and id love to hear your feedback- good or bad. more often than not, i create things as samples that i like and that i would wear, but the aim of them is to demonstrate the materials, designs and possiblities available to bespoke customers.
in line with the group rules about advertising items for sale on here....im just going to tell you to come to the fair and see me! ;) *there will be cake if that helps sway you!*

Just being nosey, but which ones sell best?
I particularly like the more flamboyant ones, and wonder if you think those best reflect your personality - they just seem to have a more comfortable balanced feel to them
sophiec1979 07-02-2009, 17:41 it seems to be a real mix- i sell to a wide range of people.
ive recently completed an order for a lady whose bridesmaids will be sporting my fascinators (which reminds me those pics havent gone up yet!). i may also be doing a commission for her mum too when shes had a think about what she wants for the big day.
ive also done bespoke orders for burlesque performers and ladies going to the races and weddings- which seems to be one extreme to the other!
as for my personal taste affecting my designs....i have to reign in my inner magpie to stop myself using sparkly materials at every opportunity!

hehe - there is a little evidence of that there ;)
I've been wracking my brain over what didn't quite work with the ostrich feather with the red 'jewels'... perhaps if they tapered down in size? (I know that could be difficult according to supply of meterials)
I loved the concept though!

eek, they do- theyre the same size stones that are used in the red hat with the black bow trimmed with crystals. its just because of the natural 'flop' in the feather makes the perspective weird in the photo.
i think it a case of the very far away cows a la father ted! ;)
i think i may have a go re-photoing that one to see if it improves. thank you for pointing it out- this is why im not a photographer! :D
lol - I thought it was a bit odd - compared to the attention to detail in your other creations!
*tries not to picture a cow in a fascinator* :D
