I kinda would be, it is a lot of rubbish that she's just eaten. If she has a weight problem at the moment then maybe you should try talking to her about it and see if you can come to some sort of arrangement of exercise that you can do together.

Scozzie
06-02-2009, 13:33
binge eating then feeling remorseful and having to starve herself the next day?
8stone and worried about her weight?

you shouldn't be worried about what she's eating - but that she may stop eating - or what she may be purging.

if this is common - it could be an eating disorder brought on by low self esteme.
If you are putting thing like this on the computer then telling her about it and laughing at the responses, I think you can pin point where the low self worth comes from.

Its only problematic if its frequent.

I'd be more worried about the guilt she seems to be feeling - that's much more harmful than one pig out!

jaxter30
06-02-2009, 13:35
that was a firm no alex lmao, are you sure, for definate!!!!!!

all that choc, sweets and buns she could have a "bun in the oven"!!

Hecate

Your average cereal bar wouldn't satisfy a gerbil, and given how the size of sweetie packets have been shrinking over the years, she can't have had more than about five choccie buttons. The arctic roll was clearly just to celebrate the cold weather.

Tell her to have a diet coke, because the rest of the calories will be absorbed by that. Honest :D .

question to alex...... were the sweets packets...mansize, medium or party pack size.

youve said the arctic roll was large.
how big was the bun? cupcake or monster muffin?

were the choc bars double finger bars or single like penguins etc.

Exactly this is a cool answer

They were all pretty small portions but LARGE from her point of view lol!

Like the artic roll thing it was a tiny slice in my view but she said its large!

And jelly bellys were about 30

Choc buttons were those mini packs but 2 so I just said 1 normal sized one

LOL

To be fair he didnt originally make a joke about eating disorders. He made a joke about his girlfriend pile munching her way through the cupboards. An eating disorder is an illness that extends far beyond raiding the fridge. Other peoples replies were about eating disorders. The Ops original post made no intention of mocking eating disorders just his girlfriend.

Well its probably hard to see the funny side if you have gone through something like it I guess. Just shrug it off. You had no intention of being offensive so Just get back to your funny thread.

Not being rude but all these replies are quite funny but as I don't know the girl I have to ask, 8stone...eating majorly...only young girls can do that and not put weight on unless she spends most of her time in a gym, if she eats like that regulary i'd be worried. Sounds like bulemIa...

not really at my heaviest apart from when I was pregnant I am about 8 and a half stone. I eat the same as my partner if not more. I think if you eat regularly and sensibly you do maintain a decent wait.
