Bit of an iffy start yesterday going 2 sets down, as usual he will get to the middle of next week then bottle it in the 1/4 or 1/2 finals and lose.

Yes I am surprised there is not more posts on wimbledon..

Anyway Andrew Murray tried his best .. he may have lost in 5 sets but roll on next year, once he has sorted his fitness out he is GOING to do what Henman never did .. and thats win Wimbledon one year.

He has done something amazing at Wimbledon, he should be soo proud.

Murray did well but I can't help feel very disappointed. He seemed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. For all his fitness problems, he was SO close to serving for the match in that 4th set and his adrenalin would have won that game for him. His tennis is there, he just needs to improve his fitness levels and perhaps improve his 1st serve percentage too. Roll on next year.

Yes he did have the victory snatched from him, he let it go, but after all it is his 1st wimbledon, 1st time on centre court, prolly 1st time infront of 10,000+ people, 1st time he has played a former wimbledon finalist.

Not long before he become britains no 1 tennis player.

For an 18-year-old, Murray's lack of fitness is deeply worrying. Why on earth hasn't he got a fitness coach? It's completely bizarre.

Hopefully he will be able to overcome his difficulties, but I wouldn't say it's inevitable by any means.

Federer vs Hewitt --> shold be a good match.

Looks like a Federer vs Roddick final

and Davenport vs Sharapova final

Good to see Navratilova still playing at 47 or 48 yrs old, she is in the semi-finals of womens doubles and quarter finals of the mixed.... amazing woman

That was a great game between Sharapova and Williams.

Sharapova is such a competitor, she gives her all in every shot and although today it wasn't enough as Williams found some form.

Williams (of the Venus variety) appears to have grabbed some of her form back after a few dissappointing seasons... Should be an interesting womens final if Davenport gets through. Men's final will be a close-run thing too - all the semi-finalists are excellent players on excellent form!!

Well Federer did it, was easy win, and he finished quicker than the woman`s final, there is no stopping him on grass.

Federer will be the Wimbledon Champion for yrs & at 23 he could beat Sampras's record.I have watched Wimbledon for over 30 odd yrs & he is the best I have ever seen Class in a Glass.
