What a time for the air con to go on the blink !!

Is their anyone out there in Forum land that knows good plce to have this looked at, or had any experiance with faulty air con?

It was working a few weeks ago but not quiet as well as uit used to then this week it wasn't cooling the car at all.

Have already been quoted £60 + v.a.t from a place in Darnall to re charge the gas but then she warned me it might not be the gas and started to talk big money.

Help....we're melting, and we do need it fixing before it gets cold again next week.

Hi

Sorry I can't be much help, but I heard that if you haven't used the air con for a LONG time, it will need refilling.

I've always used it at least ever 3-4 weeks, even in the middle of winter (brrrrrr) to give it a bit of a run out, it always seems to work brilliantly.

Good luck!

I think there is a place next to the Beucheif hotel at the Abbey Lane crossroads. If I'm right, you go through the lights with the hotel on your left, and it's set back off the road a few yards after the hotel.....
I think......

Yeh, everyone I know I can't spell beucheif, so don't bother telling me :suspect:

Nearly right. If you're going out of town, it's on the left about a quarter of a mile before you get to the Archer Road/Millhouses Lane crossroads, just after Tesco's garage. Called Bradley's I think, but I've no idea what it's like.
