Has anybody used this hair product? If so, did you like the results and what was the condition of your hair afterwards? Would you recommend using it with already-coloured hair?

I'm really tempted to use this on my fringe, just to brighten myself up a bit till I can next get to the hairdressers. But my hair already has a semi-permanent on it, and I'll get another done when I next visit the salon.

Is using this product as a temporary measure a bad idea?

Help! :help:

Cheers,

StarSparkle

If the product you already have on now contains any Henna i would avoid it as it may clash...and who knows what colour you will get. If you just fancy a few streaks i reccomend Jerome Russell powder bleach and liquid peroxide. ..you buy them seperately. Best place is Wilkos, you only mix up as much as you need..i use it all the time.

StarSparkle I tried this product last year on my roots just to brighten it up a bit between salon visits. I have blonde highlighted hair and it never done any harm to the condition. It is very mild. It did brighten it up a little but nothing drastic. Hope this helps

Putting bleaching products on top of a colour (if you don't know what you are getting yourself into coz you're not a hairdresser) isn't usually a good idea StarSparkle :(

If you do decide to go ahead, I hope it comes out okay

Many thanks for your replies - much appreciated.

I think I'll take the coward's way out and return to my hairdresser - I'll need to have my hair coloured again in 2-3 weeks anyway. I'm very tempted by the product, but don't think I'd suit green hair :o Really wouldn't go with my skin tone....

Thanks again for the advice.
