I love the original!!!!!

What are peoples thoughts on the new series/remake/whatever???

I thought there are far worse shows on TV. but is it really worth it??

dint watch it as you cant replace George Cole and Dennis Waterman -should have left it as a classic memory

Seeing as I think Shane Richie is a talentless no-mark with a face I could gladly kick all night long without getting bored I can safely announce that I will not be watching this....thing

I'm not normally a violent person, but I agree with all of that

Shane richie is terrible in it like he is in everything he does.
The original one with Goeorge Cole and Dennis (yummy when he was young) Waterman was much, much, much better.

Ritchie is a talentless pillock, end of. Seen him on a couple of chat shows and he is also ringpiece.

If he hadn't married Madonna, nobody would ever have heard of him. What's the male equivalent of a WAG?

Sorry Basil, wrong Ritchie. You're thinking of the director GUY Ritchie methinks...

As a Minder fan, albeit a young one who didn't grow up with it, I rather liked the reinterpretation. BUT, I'm not viewing it as Minder, I'm viewing it as a follow-up.

Never saw the original but the new show is good. Lots of people to spot - the chap from the Post Office ads, think the police woman was in Blakes seven or something ?

If you missed it you can catch up on the Demand 5 link from this page

I'm a fan of the old ones, and I rather liked it - Shane is definitely a Daley.

The danger is of assuming it's as good as your rose-tinted memory of the original. The first series took a while to sink in - maybe this is the same. I reckon it's got potential.

It's on Five, so half the country can't watch it anyway. Lucky devils. :)
